Willie Gordon Armstrong, age 73, of Cerulean, KY, passed away Monday, February 29, 2016, at his home in Cerulean, KY. Mr. Armstrong retried after 30 years as a heavy equipment operator for Kelly & Wilmore Company. He served in the US Navy, was a member of Bainbridge Grove Baptist Church in Cerulean, KY & was a member of Cerulean Masonic Lodge No. 875 where he had served as Past Master and also Secretary. He is survived by: Wife of 50 years - Carolyn Sue Thomas Armstrong, Cerulean, KY, One Son - George Kevin Armstrong, Cerulean, KY, One Daughter - Melissa Davis & husband, Homer, Jupiter, FL, Six Grandchildren- Calvin Warren, Bobby Davis & wife, Jenna, Katie Keeling & husband, Jason, Jackson Davis, Taylor Davis & Miranda Davis & Six Great Grandchildren- Landon Davis, Kohen Keeling, Addilynn Keeling, Brooklyn Keeling, Kallan Davis & Graham Davis. He was preceded in death by: Parents - Willie J. & Daisy Catherin Brummett Armstrong, One Daughter-In-Law- Jennie Hart Armstrong, One Grandson- Will Thomas Hart Armstrong, & One Sister - Gladys Cahill. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Thursday, March 3, 2016 with Masonic Rites to be held at 6:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Friday, March 4, 2016 with the Reverend Ryan Scott officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at Cerulean Cemetery in Cerulean, KY.
