William "Bill" Armstrong, age 83, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018, at his home. Mr. Armstrong was a truck driver for Aqua Glass Corporation in Adamsville, Tennessee, for over 40 years. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Claxton Armstrong of Cadiz; three sons, William Thomas (Debbie) Armstrong of Cadiz, Scott (Connie) Morris of Princeton, Kentucky, and John Paul (Brandy) Morris of Cadiz; four daughters, Flora Armstrong of Cadiz, Vicky Smith of Paducah, Kentucky, Charlie (Jimmy) Ladd of Cadiz, and Kay Maselli of Cadiz; 13 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; and one brother, John Smith Armstrong of Owensboro, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Thomas and Lucille Nunn Armstrong, and one grandchild, Andy Dawson.
Graveside services for Mr. Armstrong will take place at a later date at Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, with Reverend Joe K. Johnson officiating. Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz, is in charge of the arrangements.
