Tommy Ray Calhoun

Tommy Ray Calhoun, age 75, of Cadiz, KY, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.  Mr. Calhoun was a Master Logger & Cattle Farmer.  He was a member of Donaldson Creek Baptist Church in Trigg Co., KY.  He was a member of the Trigg Co. Cattlemen's Association. He is survived by: Wife of 53 years - Nina Carr Calhoun, Cadiz, KY, One Daughter - Darla Joiner & husband, Ricky, Cadiz, KY, Two Grandsons- Mike Joiner & wife, Haley, Cadiz, KY & Matt Joiner & wife, Jaclyn, Cadiz, KY, Two Great Grandchildren - Hallie Joiner and Hatley Joiner, Two Sisters- Linda Marquess, Bumpus Mills, TN, Brenda Morgan & husband, Dotson, Grundy, MS, Two Aunts- Beulah Mitchell, Caldwell Co., KY & Opal Jones, Edwardsville, IL.  He was preceded in death by: Parents - Henry & Ealer Bland Calhoun, Infant Twin Daughters- Diane & Demetris Calhoun & Brother-In-Law- Clayton Marquess.  Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Sunday, August 16, 2015.  Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at  2:00 PM Monday, August 17, 2015 with the Reverend Wayne Glass & Reverend Russell Thomas officiating.  Burial will follow at Calhoun - Joiner Cemetery in Trigg Co., KY.

Dear Family & Loved ones , I was so saddened to hear of the loss of Tommy Ray. We were friends as teenagers in Cadiz. Tommy was a lot of fun and always had a smile on his face. I know he will be greatly missed by his wife ,children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many friends. Please accept my heartfelt and sincere sympathy to all of you.
