Leave Condolences

Mrs. McKinney, I tried searching the internet for Mr. McKinney a few years ago during teacher appreciation week. I wanted to thank him for being a wonderful role model for me. He was my 5th grade teacher and basketball coach at Newburgh Elem. his first year teaching. I thought I would try again today and found this page. I regret not having tried again sooner. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My fondest memories of elem. school included him. I have often thought of him and wondered where he ended his career.

So sorry to hear this sad news. He taught me and coached our teams at Castle. I will always remember the fun times in the Castle Canoe Club, and canoeing on his Whitewater River in Brookville and Metamora. He always went out of his way to ensure that we learned, not just from books, but from life experiences. Thank you, Mr. McKinney.

Nancy and Ann, I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mr. MCKinney was our 5th,6th,& 7th grade Bball coach. I think it may have been his 1st job teaching. We were the Class of 71 @ Castle. We loved him. Never knew where he ended up career. Saw Obit. In Evv Courier.

My heartfelt condolences to Nancy and Family. I know that Tom will be missed. I am grateful that Michelle is close by to represent the Whitehouse Family. Peace. Scott Whitehouse
