Rev. David Ray Futrell

Rev. David Ray Futrell, age 61, of Cadiz, KY, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at his home in Trigg Co., KY.  Bro. David Ray was the pastor at Living Waters Church in Cadiz, KY.  He also worked alongside his father, Billy Ray, on the family farm in the Donaldson Creek community of Trigg Co., KY.   He is survived by: Wife - Sherry Futrell, One Son - Shad Futrell, Cadiz, KY, One Daughter - Melissa Kennedy & husband, Sonny, Cadiz, KY, Father - Billy Ray Futrell, Cadiz, KY, One Step Daughter - Brittney Carlisle & husband, Chris, South Fulton, TN, Two Grandchildren- Ethan Brice Futrell & Arizona Leigh Kennedy, Four Step Grandchildren- Audra Baker, Hannah Carlisle, Elijah Carlisle & Lydia Carlisle, Three Sisters- Debbie Parker & husband, Robert, Cadiz, KY, Connie Kennedy & husband, Roger, Cadiz, KY & Patricia Gilbert & husband, Ray, Cadiz, KY.  He was preceded in death by: Mother - Martha Jo Futrell.  Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 19, 2015.  Funeral  Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 20, 2015 with the Reverend Steve Hibbs, Bro. James Cox, Rev. Shelby Underhill & Rev. Russ Thomas officiating.  Burial will follow at Peyton Thomas Cemetery in Trigg Co., KY.  Memorial Contributions can be made to:  Peyton Thomas Cemetery Fund, c/o- Billy "Butch" Thomas, 4320 Donaldson Creek Road, Cadiz, KY 42211.

Sorry about ure loss

I met him once and he seemed like a fine man. I know his sister Patricia & brother-in-law Ray. My heart goes out to the entire family.

So sorry to hear about your father, Melissa. Our prayers for your family.

Shad u are in our prayers and thoughts at this time. We want to bring food and give u something. We will see ya at the vistation and funeral. God loves you and we do too. Gods BLessings and help at this time we pray.

So sorry for your loss. David was a good man who loved the Lord. He will be missed greatly.
