Paul E. & Emogene King Hall

Mr. Paul E. Hall, 93, passed away Sunday, November 16 at 2:10 PM at Trigg Co. Hospital and his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Emogene Hall, 86, passed away Monday morning, November 17, 2014 at 6:20 AM, also, at Trigg Co. Hospital.  
Mr. Hall retired from the Kentucky State Highway Department where he worked as a heavy equipment operator.  He was a member of Hurricane Baptist Church in Trigg Co., KY & was a US Army WWII veteran where he was awarded six Bronze Stars for heroic, meritorious achievement & service during WWII.
Mrs. Hall was a homemaker & previously worked as a cook at Shady Lawn Nursing Center & as a nurse's aid at Trigg County Manor, both in Cadiz, KY.  She was a member of Hurricane Baptist Church in Trigg Co., KY.
Mr. & Mrs. Hall were married for 69 years, celebrating their anniversary last Sunday, November 9, 2014.
They are survived by: One Daughter - Paulette Finley & husband, Paul, Cadiz, KY, Two Grandsons- Kendell Finley & wife, Sandy, Cadiz, KY & Lanny Finley & wife, Megan, Alventon, KY, Four Great Grandchildren- McKenna Finley, Toby Finley, Olivia Finley & Mia Finley & Mr. Hall's Sister-Rose Nell Patton, Fredonia, KY.
Mr. Hall was preceded in death by: Father - Paul Edward Hall, Sr., Mother - Martha Frances Hall, One Son - Dennis Everett Hall, One Brother - Richard Hall & Three Sisters- Hattie Gray, Eva Hall & Mary Mitchell.
Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by:  Father - John Thomas King, Mother - Mamie Frances King, One Dennis Everett Hall,  Three Brothers-Rufus King, Cecil King & Bill King & Four Sisters- Mae Wynn, Frances Oliver, Louise Gray & Lola Cherry.
Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends for Mr. & Mrs. Hall after 4:00 PM on Wednesday, November 19, 2014.  A joint Funeral Services for Mr. & Mrs. Paul E, & Dorothy Emogene Hall will be Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Goodwin Funeral Home  in  Cadiz, KY with the Reverend Paul Cannon officiating.  Joint Burial will follow in Hurricane Baptist Church Cemetery in Trigg Co., KY with military honors provided for Mr. Paul E Hall, WWII veteran.

Paulette, I am so sorry to read of the passing of your parents. How sad, and yet unique. Janice and I saw you from a distance at Lindsey & Joy's funeral. Again, so sorry for your loss, my friend.
