Martha Jean Hargrove Oliver

Martha Jean Hargrove Oliver, age 79, of Cadiz, KY, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014, at Morgantown Care & Rehab Center in Morgantown, KY.  Mrs. Oliver retired as a nurse's aid from Trigg County Hospital in Cadiz, KY with over 30 years of service. She was a member of East Cadiz Baptist Church and Ophelia Chapter No. 33, Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by: One Son & Daughter-In-Law- Brian Paul & Deena Oliver, Cadiz, KY, Two Daughters & Son-in-Law- Diane Michele Carr, Hopkinsville, KY,  Debra Marie & Richard Coleman, Morgantown, KY, Two Brothers- E. David Hargrove, Cadiz, KY, Bobby Glen Hargrove, Evansville, IN, Four Sisters-Mary Lou Braucht, Cadiz, KY, Judy Katharine Whittinghill, Cadiz, KY,  Carolyn Sue Brown, Fountain, CO, Betty Joy Hood, Bascom, FL, Five Grandchildren- Bryce Coleman, Kyle Coleman, Brooke Coleman, Carla Delich & Mason Oliver, Seven Great Grandchildren- Christopher Coleman, Samantha Coleman, Brycen Colem,an, Blake Coleman, Shelton Coleman, Claire Coleman & Alex Coleman.  She was preceded in death by: Father - James William Hargrove, Mother - Earline McBride Hargrove, Long Time Companion - Maxie Bridges, Two Brothers-James William Hargrove & Hershell "Toad" Hargrove, Two Sisters-Margaret Louise Dunn & Linda Sue Skinner & Two Great Grandchildren-Catherine Coleman & Ava-Grace Coleman.  Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Wednesday, July 30, 2014.  Funeral  Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at  10:00 AM Thursday, July 31, 2014. Burial will follow at East End Cemetery in Cadiz, KY.  Memorial Contributions can be made to: Meals On Wheels, C/O- Trigg County Senior Citizen's Center, PO Box 99, Cadiz, KY 42211.

Ms. Martha. Always with a smile an laughter. Helping hand to all who need. For years I have had the pleasure of knowing Ms. Martha an she always took the time to speak no matter where we were. When she was at Trigg Co. Hospital she was a plus for that faculity for she was caring...Helpful for all patiences. Now she is smiling down upon us all an she will be greatly missed. One day we will all rejoice in the heavens. So rest now Ms. Martha. One day we will see you again. God Bless all. She will be greatly missed.
