Marjorie L. Sutton

Marjorie L. Sutton, age 85, of Cadiz, KY, formerly of Frankfort, KY, passed away Friday, October 23, 2015, at Trigg County Hospital in Cadiz, KY.  Mrs. Sutton was a graduate of Kavanaugh High School in Lawrenceburg and Fugazzi Business College in Louisville, she worked in state government as an administrative assistant in the Departments of Child Welfare and Agriculture.  She resided in Lawrenceburg from 1953-1965. A member of the First Christian Church, she was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles, embroidery, and crochet. She is survived by: One Daughter - Karen Shryock Clement & husband Rick, Cadiz, KY, One Step Daughter - Judith Sutton Hartweck, One Sister - Juanita Shryock, Three Brothers- Cecil Christerson, Bobby Christerson, and Tom Christerson, Three Step Grandchildren & Four Step Great Grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by:  Parents - John Herman & Bessie Lee Christerson & Husband - Guyles E. Sutton.  Local arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. in Cadiz, KY.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Rogers Funeral Home, 507 West 2nd Street, Frankfort, KY.  Funeral  Service will be at the First Christian Church, 316 Ann Street, Frankfort, KY at  11:00 AM Wednesday, October 28, 2015 with a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM until the service time of 11:00 AM at the church.  Burial will follow at Frankfort Cemetery in Frankfort, KY.  Memorial Contributions can be made to:  Janice Mason Art Museum, PO Box 303, Cadiz, KY 42211.
