CHURCH MEMBERSHIP: Member of Millbrooke Christian Church where she served as former Sunday School Teacher. She had also attended Wallonia Christian Church. She was known as a Bible Scholar to many and was often called on to answer Biblical questions.
OCCUPATION: She was a retired teacher, she taught in one room schools, in Caledonia, Flat Lick, Sinking Fork High School and Trigg County High School. She taught for 32 years.

She was a member of the Educational Asscociation where she had served as past pres. at the local and district levels, KRTA, Ophelia Chaper Order of Eastern Star #55, Noon Friends of the Library in Hopkinsville, KY, Cadiz BPW Club where she served as past pres locally as well as district director and women of the year, she served on the Trigg County History Book Committee acting as a resource for family histories. Member of Trigg and Christian County Historical Societies.
