Lisa Williams

Lisa Williams, age 53, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky.  Mrs. Williams was employed as a vendor stocker at the Ft. Campbell, Kentucky Commissary.  Previously, she had worked as an LPN at Western Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky, and at Lake Clough Retirement Center in Kuttawa, Kentucky.   She also worked as a massage therapist for ten years at the Lake Barkley State Park Fitness Center in Trigg County.  Lisa enjoyed horseback riding with her family and spending time with her dogs, Pebbles and Hudson.  She was a giving person who loved helping others.  Lisa was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Mayfield, Kentucky.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Scott Williams, Cadiz, Kentucky; two daughters, Kalesha Williams, Joelton, Tennessee, and Chasity Beth Groves (Trea), Cadiz; two grandchildren, Clay Groves and Krizianna Groves; her mother, Kathy Greem (William), Mayfield, Kentucky; her father, Dallas Cook (Faye), Trumann, Arkansas; her sister, Brenda Sue Clapp (Mason), Wingo, Kentucky; and her mother-in-law, Carolyn Williams, Cadiz.  

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Don Williams; and her maternal grandparents, L.B. and Catherine Nelson.

Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz, where the family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Tuesday, July 11, 2017.  Funeral  services will be at Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., at  1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 with Rev. Ronnie Stinson, Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow at Drury-Bridges Cemetery in Trigg County. 

Memorial contributions can be made to Drury-Bridges Cemetery Fund, 88 Beechy Fork Road, Cadiz, KY 42211.
