Kim Massey Campbell

Kim Massey Campbell, age 58, of Princeton, Kentucky, a long time resident of Todd County, Kentucky, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017, at her home in Princeton.  Mrs. Campbell retired as a school bus driver from the Todd County School System after 30 years.  She also worked at the Dollar General Store in Elkton, Kentucky.  For most of her life, while living in Todd County and most recently in Caldwell County, Kim and her husband, Don, operated Campbell Farms.  It was there where her love for animals, stewardship of the land and her family, particularly her grandchildren, shined the brightest.  She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Don Campbell, Princeton; one son, Kyle Campbell (Leilani), Elkton; one daughter, Blair Knight (Justin), Princeton; her mother, Janet Hunt Massey, Clarksville, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Clay Campbell, Charlie Campbell, Kenzie Knight, and Kylei Campbell; one brother, Matt Massey, Clarksville; and one sister, Jan Massey Swift, Parrish, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Massey.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at the Providence United Methodist Church, 698 Starns Rd in Elkton, Kentucky.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Pennyroyal Hospice, 220 Burley Avenue, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.

Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz, Kentucky.

I was saddened to learn of Kim's passing.Although we had not been in contact with each other for some time,I will always remember her sense of humor and joy for life.She made one of the most impressive amateur rides in Celebration history with Ebony's Collector!

Kevin & I wish to give our condolences to the family. Although, we haven't seen kim in many years, she will always be remembered in our hearts as a wonderful person. Prayers to all the family of peace, and comfort.
