John Harris, Sr., age 86, of Cadiz, KY, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2011, at Shady Lawn Nursing Center in Cadiz, KY. Mr. Harris was a retired truck driver from Alton Boxboard in Evansville, IN and from Lake Barkley State Resort Park where he worked in the maintenance department. He was also a farmer. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He was survived by: Two Sons & Daughter-In-Laws- Mark & Connie Harris, Cadiz, KY, John "Bob" & Paulette Harris, Jr., Cadiz, KY, Four Daughters & Sons-In-Law- Martha Ann Wallace & Bob Gonterman, Evansville, IN, Sheila Harris, Cadiz, KY, Rose Helene & Rick Brooks, Cadiz, KY & Carolyn & Luke Pollock, Murray, KY, Two Sisters & Brother-In-Law- Delores Nicoletti, Detroit, MI & Jewel & Fred Denny, Cadiz, KY, Eighteen Grandchildren- Clarence Wallace, Jr., Tammy Wallace, Johnny Harris, Angela Walker, Chris Fotopulos, Brenda Evelyn Wallace, William Andrew Wallace, Martha Ann McCullough, Mary Ruth Wallace, Amity Harris, Amber Harris, Marcus Harris, Richard Brooks, Jason Brooks, Justen Pollock, Anthony Pollock, Jr., Heather Pollock & Daniel Boulton. Eighteen Great Grandchildren & Four Great Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: Wife - Rose Loledia Harris, Father - Robert Fred Harris, Mother - Euna Marie Frith Harris, Four Brothers-Charles Linn Harris, Bill Harris, Milford Harris & Newton Harris. 

Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Monday, October 10, 2011. Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 11, 2011 with the Reverend Paxton Redd officiating. Burial will follow at Trigg Memory Acres in Cadiz, KY. Memorial Contributions can be made to: Cadiz Gideon Camp PO Box 65, Cadiz, KY 42211 Alzheimers Association , 6100 Dutchmans Lane, Suite 401, Louisville, KY 40205.
