Jewell Walker

Jewell Walker, age 95, of Cadiz, KY, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at her home in Cadiz, KY.   Mrs. Walker was a homemaker and previously worked at Elk Brand Manufacturing in Cadiz, KY.  She was a long time member of Cadiz Baptist Church, where she oversaw the children's nursery for a number of years, & recently, was a member of Trigg Co. Baptist Church.   She is survived by: Two Sons- Darrell Walker & wife, Teresa, Cadiz, KY, Wayne Walker & wife, Glenda, Cadiz, KY, 6 Grandchildren- Jodi Wilson & husband, Lynn, Amy Serrano & husband, Jose, Jason Walker & Angie Gray, Michele Walker, Angie Walker & Lisa Adams,  12 Great Grandchildren- Chase Wilson, Jonathan Wilson, Lanny Holeman, Tiffany Johnson & husband, Josh, Darrell Anderson, Kara Mae Carneyhan, Lainey Reese Walker, Kyle Carneyhan, Elijah Serrano, Isaiah Serrano, Franklin Serrano & Kevin Nguyen,  6 Great Great Grandchildren, Nieces & Nephews- Charlene & Frank Mroz, James Arthur & Diane Garvin, John & Denise Garvin.  She was preceded in death by: Parents - James Arthur & Velma Bush Garvin, Husband - Prentis Walker & One Brother - James Herman Garvin.  Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, November 5, 2015.  Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Friday, November 6, 2015 with the Reverend John Mitchell officiating.  Burial will follow at Flat Lick Cemetery in Christian Co., KY.  Memorial Contributions can be made to:  Alzheimer's Association, P.O.
