James Warren Stubblefield, age 80, of Cadiz, KY, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at his home in Cadiz, KY. Mr. James Warren Stubblefield retired from the U.S. Air Force with twenty-one and half years of service. While in the U.S. Air Force, Mr. Stubblefield, received the Air Force Longevity Service Award with four Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Force Good Conduct Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters, Vietnam Service Medal, and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. After retiring from the U.S. Air Force Mr. Stubblefield was an outboard boat mechanic. He was a very active member of the Cadiz Baptist Church and also a member of the Pennyrile Honor Guard. He is survived by wife of 56 years - Virginia Calhoun Stubblefield, Cadiz, KY, Two Sons & Daughters-In-Law - Phillip & Karen Stubblefield, Fort Worth, TX, Keith Stubblefield & Carlyle Kloter , Northfield, CT, One Daughter & Son-In-Law - Phyllis & Kelvin Nichols, Columbus, OH, Two Brothers- Glen Stubblefield & wife Brenda, New Concord, KY, Eddie Bruce Stubblefield & wife, Carolyn, New Concord, KY, Two Sisters - Jane Potts & husband, Jamie, Kirksey, KY, Cheryl Lee Satterwhite & husband, Bobby, Murray, KY & One Granddaughter - Amanda Stubblefield, Dayton, OH. He was preceded in death by his Parents James Gradie & Frances Lassiter Stubblefield. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, May 18, 2015. Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Burial with full military honors provided by the Pennyrile Honor Guard will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY.
