Jack Newton Cook

Jack Newton Cook, age 83, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY.  Mr. Cook was a Tool & Die Machinist & a farmer.  He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Princeton, KY where he served as a deacon.  Mr. Cook was a US Army Korean War veteran. He is survived by: Two Sons- Lowell Cook & wife, Pam, Huntsville, AL, Robert Cook, Bowling Green, KY, One Daughter - Teresa "Teri" Cook, Hopkinsville, KY,  Six Grandchildren- Philip Scranton, Rachel Scranton, Jackie Pulliam & husband, Vewin, Nick Cook & wife, Andrea, Mitchell Cook & Katelyn Cook,  Four Great Grandchildren- Dixie Smith, Dixon Henderson, Isabel Cook & Elliette Pulliam, One Sister - Peggy Cook Kreilick, Princeton, KY.  He was preceded in death by: Parents - Ben & Bertie Mitchell Cook, Wife - Norma Allen Cook & One Sister - Lucille Shelton.  Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Monday, August 24, 2015.  Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 25, 2015 with the Reverend Ed Rawlins officiating.  Burial will follow at Adams Cemetery in Trigg Co., KY.  Memorial Contributions can be made to:  Cadiz Gideon Camp, PO Box 65, Cadiz, KY 42211.
