"Genia" Lucy Sedberry Wagner, age 62, of Princeton, Kentucky, and formerly of Trigg County, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017, at Baptist Health Hospital in Madisonville, Kentucky.
Mrs. Wagner was a co-founder, along with her husband David and Frank "Tug" Greer, of Southern Exterminators in Cadiz. She was the owner of Elbow Room Ceramics and had previously worked at K-Mart in Hopkinsville. Genia was a former Boy Scout Leader in Trigg County and was a member of Quinn Baptist Church in Princeton.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, David Wagner of Princeton; two sons, Chris (Angela) Detweiler and Mike (Selenia) Detweiler, both of Cadiz; a step son, Brian Holt of Cadiz; a step daughter, Laura (Ronnie) Mazac of Cadiz; 11 grandchildren, William Flood, Michaela Flood, Dakota Flood, Cheyenne Calhoun, Isabella Detweiler, Alyssa Holt, Emma Holt, Raylan Holt, Miranda Holt, Ramey Mazac, and Baylee Mazac; seven great grandchildren; and three sisters, Linda Laster of Cadiz, Dee Dee (Cruz) Berios of Miami, Florida, and Lois Brown of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Maggie Sedberry; one brother, Jackie Sedberry; one sister, Betty Garland; and two brothers-in-law, Steve Laster and Ralph Brown.
Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz, where the family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 22, 2017, with a memorial service to begin at 2:00 p.m., with Reverend J.J. Sherrill and Reverend Norman Cotton officiating.
