To the family: I am sorry about you loss. Elaine was a wonderful and sweet lady. As a teacher at Trigg County, for many years I had the pleasure at lunch of seeing and conversing with Elaine, almost daily. She did an outstanding job of managing our school cafeteria. Students and teachers alike looked forward to a great tasting hot lunch. Elaine and my deceased sister-in law Gene Hardy McFadden, were friends, so I often saw Elaine at other times.. She was a delight and would brighten every ones day. Elaine was a blessing to our community, and to her family and friends. May all of you find joy in the wonderful memories of Elaine. May God comfort each of you all with his love and kindness. Gail Hardy

I went to church for several years when I was younger with miss Elaine I have to say she was one of the sweetest and prettiest ladies I have ever known, not to mention a devoted christian as well. She taught me in Sunday school and had fun christian Halloween parties at her house. Thanks for all the good lessons and memories love you!

Hey, Sanders Family, Michael and the girls and I want to express our sympathy for the loss of precious Grandmomma E-laine. What a beautiful life to celebrate this weekend. Ashley, if I could swing by the funeral home, I would bring you a few things that are specific memories to me, sweet memories of you and your grandmother. I would bring a bag of hard candies, namely butterscotch and blue icy mints. I remember your grandmother eating lunch with us in elementary school, and she always carried her little pouch of hard candies. That was such a sweet treat for all the friends around that table. I would also bring my painted ceramic robin. Your grandmother (and you) brought me to VBS at the little church up the road from her house, and one night we painted robins in the art class. My mom kept that little bird under the bathroom sink for YEARS afterward. Also, I'd include a few cans of Pringles potato chips, because later on in school, we got to spend the night at your grandparents' house (just you and me), and we both got upset stomachs from eating all those chips. I still can't eat those to this day without thinking of that night. You all are so precious to me, and I love you so much! Ashley, you especially! I'm so thankful for you, and your grandmother. I'm also thankful that one day God will wipe every tear from every eye and there will be no more death or sadness. Know that we're lifting each of you up in prayer and that we hope that Jesus comforts you and brings you peace. Leah Fuller Rogers

To the family of Elaine Sanders - she was one of the sweetest, kindest ladies that anyone will ever know. I worked with her in the cafeteria at Trigg County Schools. I was at Western with Jackie and Karla. So much has transpired over the years, BUT Ms. Sanders never seemed to change. I know in more recent years - things changed - but Elaine was always her sweet, kind self when I saw her. I am so sorry about your loss - I wish you comfort now, peace soon and warm memories forever. With sympathy, love and prayers. Carroll Adams Port Orange, Florida

May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand. To Joyce and all the family, our thoughts and prayers are with you as you try to find a new "normal" without your precious Mom, Grandmother, etc. Jim & Janis Baker
