Edward Houston "Buddy" Gish, age 78, of Robards, KY, a long time resident of Cadiz, KY, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at his daughter's home in Robards, KY. Mr. Buddy Gish retired after 33 years working as a conductor for L & N Railroad. He was a member and past Master of Cerulean Springs Masonic Lodge 875, Cadiz Masonic Lodge 121, Linton Masonic Lodge 783, Past Chaplain of Clinton Masonic Lodge 82, member of Jerusalem Masonic Lodge 9, Pilgrim at Moose Lodge 942, North Little Rock, AR, West Kentucky Consistory "Scottish Rite", Oleika Shrine Temple , Lexington, Ky. Mr. Gish was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hopkinsville, KY. He is survived by: One Daughter - Kathy Groves, Robards, KY, Three Sons- Edward Houston Gish, II, Henderson, KY, Edward Austin Gish, Henderson, KY & Bentley Allen Gish, Henderson, KY, One Step Daughter - Kim Majors, Henderson, KY, Nine Grandchildren & Seventeen Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: Parents - Gillie & Dollie Jennings Gish, Wife - Janice Gish, One Son - Bartley Wayne Gish, Three Sisters: Minnie Murphy, Frances Alexander & Christine Schwaller. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday, November 23, 2015. A Masonic funeral service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 6:00 PM Monday, November 23, 2015. Burial will follow at a later date in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY.
