Dwight Cook

Dwight D. Cook, age 66, of Wallonia, Kentucky, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018, at Princeton Health and Rehabilitation Center in Princeton, Kentucky.  Mr. Cook was a retired farmer from the Wallonia community of Trigg and Caldwell Counties.  He was a member of Wallonia Baptist Church.

He is survived by three brothers, Firmon M. (Betty) Cook, III, Rex (Teresa) Cook, and Vance (Debbie) Cook, all of Caldwell County; and two sisters, Bonnie (Roger) Boyd of Cadiz, and Peggy Farra of Apple Valley, Minnesota.

He was preceded in death by his parents, F.M. Cook, Jr. and Laura Groves Cook, one brother, Tex Randall Cook, and one sister, Barbara Nell Cook.

Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz, where the family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018.  The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at Goodwin Funeral Home, with Vance Cook as Eulogist, assisted by Reverend Kirk Greenfield. Burial will follow in Adams Cemetery in Trigg County.

What an amazing fellow. He let nothing slow him down. Fiercely loyal to his family and enjoyed life to the fullest . Rest In Peace Dwight!
