Leave Condolences

Dear Charles, and other family: My wife and I were colleagues of your parents during their service in France at Emmanuel Baptist Church. They were both personal friends and devoted servants of our Lord. We were all enriched by the contacts we had with Bill and Ruth and admired their many gifts. What a blessing to have known them! We served in the Paris area while the Thomas were with Emmanuel and remember meeting Debbie, and perhaps Charles. We pray for you God's loving consolation as you mourn the loss of Bill, and earlier, Ruth. Sincerely - HL P.S. Bill and I were fellow students at Southern Seminary though we didn't know each other then.

As a teenage girl at Woodburn Baptist Church, I was profoundly influenced by the ministry of Bill and Ruth. They taught great truths, loved deeply, and led our church to tremendous growth! They are precious people in the world of Christian discipleship!

Charles and family, I express my sincere sympathy to you all in the passing of your father. He was a very devoted man; I met him when he came to our minister's meetings in Owensboro. God bless each one. Bro. Larry Birkhead

Charles, again I am so sorry for your loss. Praying God continually brings peace and strength to you and all of your family. Love you my brother.
