Don Louie Andrews

Don Louie Andrews, age 64, of Cadiz, KY, formerly of Panama City, FL passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at his home in Cadiz, KY.  Mr. Andrews worked 30 years as a Pipefitter & Welder throughout the Southeastern United States.  He began his career at the Pipefitters & Plumbers Local Union No 229 in Panama City, FL, where he also served as past President of the Union.  He was currently employed by The United Association of Plumbers & Steamfitters Local Union No. 52 is located in Montgomery, AL, where he performed many jobs in the Nashville, TN area.  After High School, Louie joined the United States Merchant Marine where he assisted in transporting goods & services during the Vietnam War.  He was a Master Mason that had served as Past Master of the Masonic Lodge in Panama City, FL.  Louie had a deep love for his family & the outdoors.  He was a dedicated husband, father, son, brother & grandfather.  Louie & his wife, Nona, shared a great love & enjoyed spending time together on their boat, Fishin Buddee, exploring and fishing the waters of Lake Barkley in Cadiz, KY & Gulf of Mexico out of Panama City, FL. He is survived by: Loving Wife - Nona Andrews, Cadiz, KY; One Son - Daniel Andrews, Birmingham, AL; One Daughter - Kristina Allen & husband, David, Jacksonville, NC; Mother - Ann Andrews, Panama City, FL; Two Grandchildren- Zoe Allen; Rylee Allen; Two Step Daughters- LesLee Ann Tucker & husband, Chris, Panama City, FL; Carmen Lou Smith & husband, Ryan, Elizabethtown, KY; Five Brothers- Wayne Andrews, Panama City, FL; Charles Andrews, Spring Hill, FL; Carl Andrews, Panama City, FL; Gordon Andrews, Panama City, FL; Cecil Dale Andrews, of TX; Two Sisters- Sue Smith, Cocoa, FL; Faye Peludat, Saint Augustine, FL.  He was preceded in death by: Father - Louie Andrews.  Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz, KY.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the home of Louie & Nona Andrews, 56 Holly Hill Lane, in Cadiz, KY.

I am so sorry to hear about Donnie's death. He was a wonderful person and always had a smile on his face. Donnie loved all of us and would go out of his way to talk to anyone. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Rest in Peace, Donnie!
