Deloris Ann Thomas Burnam

Deloris Ann Thomas Burnam of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at her home.  Ms. Burnam was retired from Trigg County Hospital where she worked in the admissions department for over 35 years. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and sister, and was a member of Liberty Point Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Ray (Tasha) Burnam, II, of Cadiz, and his father, Ray Burnam, Sr., of Cadiz; three grandchildren, Tyler Ray Burnam of Hanover, New Hampshire, and Tyler Pratt and Tori Pratt, both of Cadiz; one brother, Ross Thomas of Cadiz; and four sisters, Josephine Williamson of Houston, Missouri, Nell (Richard "Mack") McClure of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Betty (J.F.) Ricks and Brenda Underwood (James "Peanut" Thomas), both of Cadiz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton Dorris "Eli" and Dollie V. Smith Thomas; four brothers, Bobby Thomas, Jackie Thomas, Dorris Thomas, and Clifton Thomas; and one sister, Naomi Jane Prister.

Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz, where the family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2018, with the funeral service to begin at 1:00 p.m. Reverend Wayne Glass will officiate. Burial will follow in Starkie Thomas Cemetery in Trigg County.

I loved Ms. Delores and so grateful she had been a part of my work family and my personal friend. She loved her family so very much and will be missed everyday. Prayers for comfort to all of her family . May God bless and comfort you all through this time.

I am very sorry for the loss of your mother Ray. She was a very lovely lady and though I didn't know her long she made an impression of being a very fine lady. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
