Danny Hite

Danny Reed Hite, age 62, of Cadiz, KY, passed away Monday, December 12, 2011, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, KY due to complications from diabetes. A life long resident of Trigg County, he was born February 2, 1949 to the late Robert Whitson & Deane Cunningham Hite. Mr. Hite attended school in Trigg Co., then gradusted from Western KY University with a degree in agriculture and business in 1971. During his life, he owned and operated farms in the Montogomery community in Trigg County and also had enjoyed being an avid golfer, fisherman and sportsman. He attended Crossroads Fellowship Church and was a past member of the Cadiz Optimist Club, Cadiz Bass Club and Cadiz/Trigg County Gold Club. He was also a 32 degree Mason, a member of Cerulan Masonic Lodge No. 875 and the Rizpah Shrine Temple. He was survived by: One Sister & Brother-In-Law - Jan & Russell Harris, Frankfort, KY, One Niece & her husband - Jessica Reed Harris & Greg Hosfield, Lexington, KY, One Great Niece - Ellis Hite Hosfield, Lexington, KY, Aunt - Billie Hargrove, Hopkinsville, KY. He also leaves Aunts & Uncles in Florida and numerous cousins and friends. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 14, 2011. Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 14, 2011 with the Reverend Geoff Baggett officiating. Burial will follow at Robertson-Hite Cemetery in Cadiz, KY. Memorial contributions can be made to: Crossroads Fellowship Church, PO Box 560, Cadiz, KY 42211, Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bluegrass, PO Box 22414, Lexington, KY 40522 or the Shriners Hospitals for Children,1900 Richmond Road, Lexington, KY 40502.
