Charlene Owens Freeman

Charlene Owens Freeman, age 71, of Cadiz, KY, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.  Mrs. Freeman had worked at Kreative Kampus Daycare and Cadiz Hardware in Cadiz, KY.  She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Trigg County, where she was involved in the WMU and taught Sunday School for numerous years. She is survived by: her husband of 53 years, James Robert Freeman, Cadiz, KY; one son - Gary Freeman & wife, Pam, Cadiz, KY; two daughters - Janet  F. James & husband, Tony, Murray, KY; and Sandy F. Finley & husband, Kendell, Cadiz, KY; six grandchildren - Josh Freeman & wife, Kari; Kyle Freeman & wife, Stacia; Janson James & wife, Kara; Paxton James; McKenna Finley; and Toby Finley;  two great grandchildren - Weston Freeman and Gracie Ann Freeman; one brother - James  Ray Owens, Cadiz, KY; and two sisters - Marie Alexander, Cadiz, KY; and Debbie Holder, Cadiz, KY.  She was preceded in death by: her parents - James Benjamin Owens & Oveller Mae George Owens; and aunt - Randa Owens.  Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz, KY, where the family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Monday, October 31, 2016.  Funeral Service will be at New Hope Baptist Church, 220 New Hope Church Road in Cadiz, KY, at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, November 1, 2016, with Dr. Mike Rust and Rev. Paxton Redd officiating.  An additional visitation will begin at New Hope Baptist Church the day of the funeral service, Tuesday, at 11:00 AM until the funeral time of 1:00 PM.  Burial will follow the funeral service at Freeman Family Cemetery in Trigg County, KY.

Jackie and I are so sorry for your loss. We pray that God will help you to find peace and calm in this difficult time. Charlene was a beautiful lady and we loved her and the family!
