Myria Adams Bush

Myria Adams Bush, age 87, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Shady Lawn Nursing Center in Cadiz. Mrs. Bush retired from the Trigg County Schools System where she worked in the cafeteria for many years.  She had previously worked in the Housekeeping Department at Lake Barkley State Park.  She was a member of Wallonia Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Raymond Bush of Cadiz; three sons, Rudy (Marie) Adams of Hopkinsville, and Lonnie Adams and Ronnie Adams, both of Cadiz; one daughter, Janet Adams (Greg) Calhoun of Cadiz; one step daughter, Rachel (Dave) Powers of Crofton; seven grandchildren, Josh (Sheena) Adams, Ashley (Justin) Reynolds, Austin Calhoun, Cody Adams, Logan Adams, Kimberly (Mike) McCraw, Jacqueline (Daniel) Roeder, Chris Bush, and Mandy Cowen; ten great grandchildren, Sabrina Wilson, Wyatt Roeder, Bentley Reynolds, Emerson Reynolds, Everleigh Reynolds, Caiden Adams, Brooklyn Adams, Hannah Cowen, Macy Bush and Bryson Bush; one great-great grandson; and one brother, Calvert (Daphne) Wallace of Princeton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Ethel Keel Wallace; her first husband, Adrian Adams; one step son, Dale Bush; five brothers, Leslie Wallace, Albert Wallace, G.T. Wallace, Stanley Wallace, and Lacy Wallace; and three sisters, Lorene Wallace, Nina Wynn, and Ruby McCormick.  

Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz, where the family will receive friends after 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. The funeral service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m.on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, with Reverend Norman Cotton and Reverend Kirk Greenfield officiating.  Burial will follow in Adams Cemetery in Trigg County.
